I watched the first part of True Savior Legend today. While it had lots of great moments I was still a little bit disappointed. For something called “Legend of Raoh: Martyred Love Arc”, there was quite a lot of Kenshiro. Not that I mind, the name just doesn’t sound very fitting.
The animation was mostly nice though there were plenty of scenes that could’ve been animated better. I’m not very familiar with the original story of Hokuto no Ken but I think this OVA does follow it. The movie (or OVA) is surprisingly emotional as well.
The very best part was when Shuu cried out for Kenshiro as Souther cuts his legs. Then Kenshiro awakes, “Ai wo Torimodose!!” is played and Kenshiro returns to beat the crap out of the bad guys. That’s something I call a great scene! The final battle between Kenshiro and Souther was not a bad scene either.
The Legend of Yuria will be released at the end of February. After seeing this one, I’m looking forward to it.
More information of the upcoming OVAs can be found on the official Hokuto no Ken website.

I happened to check out Tougeki’s official website and saw the list of games for the next Super Battle Opera. As expected there were new games like Virtua Fighter 5, Guilty Gear XX Accent Core and Arcana Heart. What I was surprised to see were Hyper Street Fighter II and The King of Fighters ‘98. I’ve never played the latter but I’m not a big fan of HSF2. GGXXAC is the one I’m the most interested about.
The full list of games is
Guilty Gear XX Accent Core (3-on-3)
Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection (3-on-3)
The King of Fighters ‘98 (1-on-1)
Arcana Heart (1-on-1)
Hyper Street Fighter II (2-on-2)
Melty Blood Act Cadenza ver. B (2-on-2)
Soulcalibur III Arcade Edition (1-on-1)
Virtua Fighter 5 (3-on-3)
Street Fighter III 3rd Strike (3-on-3)

This is Kunimura. To those who know me, “Yo, wazzup!”. To those who don’t know me, “Greetings strangers!”.
So this is an otaku blog. Yes, another of those blogs that deal with things like manga, anime, video games, moe and such subjects. What makes this different from the others? Dunno, my eccentric personality?
I really suck at introductions…
